Today we want to introduce you inspirational vegan blogs and sites.

While becoming vegan you need to do research about where to get your protein, iron, fats and vitamins on a vegan diet. Don’t worry, you and your body are not going to miss anything if you eat mindfully and know what your body needs. Of course you can be vegan while only eating pizza, pasta, sandwiches and sweets but this is not nutritious and not the aim of vegans. Variety is the point.
Here are interesting pages about being vegan:

Peta2: Find reasons why people choose to live vegan and everything about veganism at peta2 website. I am not a big fan of the PETA organization but peta2 is less about animal rights but more a site for young vegans: http://www.peta2.de/

Introduction - EBS goes Vegan
Let's start with an explanation of veganism and an introduction.

A vegan diet is absolutely free from animal products, this means:
- no meat
- no cheese
- no eggs
- no dairy products
There are several reasons why people choose to live vegan; most do it for protection of animals and environment but there is an increasing number of vegans who do it for their own health.

Short introduction to myself:
I started to eat a vegan diet just as an experiment last April. Why? Because I was really curious how people can live without meat, cheese and all the other stuff I used to like. To be honest I even used to laugh at vegetarians because giving up something that seemed so “normal” was just a crazy and stupid idea for me. But I wanted to give it a try.

So I started doing some research about vegan nutrition and found many inspirational sites, blogs and people who helped me to implement a vegan diet into my life. I wanted to do this as a “one-month-experiment” and then decide whether it was something for me or not. I invested a lot of time in learning and understanding the vegan diet. And surprise: vegan food isn’t just about eating salads! You won’t miss anything while living vegan, you can still eat muffins, pasta, pizza, soups and even burgers - but the vegan way. The variety of vegan recipes is incredibly huge.
After a week eating vegan food I started realizing some changes: I had more energy, my skin became clearer and I just felt great! So I kept going, even though my friends just couldn’t understand it.

The experiment was successful. Eating vegan is possible and even fun! I will post for you some interesting sites and blogs all about vegan lifestyle and delicious recipe ideas. So stay tuned.
